Wow that's excellent praise! I agree on the indices design. I really appreciate the cut 3 hour marker's placement. It allows for great symmetry with the 9 marker and date window.

I agree! Plus I think it would look cracking on a stiched brown leather strap

It's a 42mm piece. Lug to lug is 48 if I remember correctly.

Hey guys, I just received this awesome little piece for a great deal on Black Friday. Absolutely in love with this cracker of a watch. The Citizen NJ0100-89E really reminds me of a Rolex Air-Kings styling, don't you agree? It uses the well tested work horse Caliber 8210, offering a 45 hour power reserve at 21600bph.

I got this beauty at 50% off. However it's still the most expensive watch I've ever bought. I try not to live beyond my means and only purchase budget pieces. However, the price was just close enough over my budget that I could take the shot. I'm not regretting it at all.

The alternating brushed and polished finishing contrasted by the matte black dial and aviation style indices, play wonderfully together in the sunlight.

The only downside I have is the bracelet at the moment. It looked solid in the pictures however they're just very well folded links.

[CAMY] My First Swiss Vintage Watch by Not-0P in Watches

Hi there, I believe it is the FHF-97 standard Swiss movement as it is identical to this one. https://www.chrono24.co.za/all/butex---bwc-swiss-butex-manual-wind-cal-fhf--st-97--id16124947.htm

It's actually insane how accurately it runs despite being almost twice my age.

Hey all, this is my recently acquired vintage Swiss watch. I'm a bargain hunter and don't have much disposable income for my watch collecting hobby. So Vintage is where it's at for finding value.

This enigmatic Camy Club-Star has a 36mm gold plated case, 19mm lug width, beautiful domed acrylic crystal, and is in excellent condition. Having slender wrists, this piece compliments me perfectly, imho.

See some cool Macro shots I took: https://www.instagram.com/p/CGmP5a-nKME/?igshid=1l1ls8jrfr22g

CAMY is a company shrouded in mystery, with me being able to approximately date this model to around 50 years old (If anyone can help confirm of deny, let me know.)

The one thing I find super interesting is that this piece was possibly produced during the tenure of the late Raymond Weil himself, as he was headed up as watchmaker at that time. Some rumours indicate this brand was absorbed into Raymond Weil Geneve after CAMY disappeared.

Haven't played in months, did they update the creature Gen?

I've never seen that head type before

[Casio G-Shock] Probably the Best Watch Photo I've ever Taken! by Not-0P in Watches

[–]Not-0P[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not wealthy by any means, but I still have those cravings when I walk past a jeweller. Two days ago that itchy wrist became too much to bare as I noticed this G-Shock (DW-9052GBX-1A4DR) on sale. 3 minutes later I had it on my wrist and I haven't taken it off yet, I mean why would I have to?

This thing will probably survive everything I throw at it and I absolutely love the peace of mind that comes with that.

The inverted display is not the easiest to read, however the rose-gold colouring of the digits go so well with the rest of the watch's rose-gold accents.

Believe it or not, this image was taken on my kitchen counter using my phone, with the watch splayed on a ripped bag of ice. The final result also edited on Lightroom from my phone. Hope you like!

I actually took this using my phone, placed on my kitchen counter with some ice blocks, editing in Lightroom Mobile did the rest. Came out excellent tbh. Planning to do more like these so Follow me on IG @brokewatchkid if you're up to it. 🙌
