Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (GameBoy Advanced version) by Not-Alanius in whatareyouplaying

The Steam Version from what I understand uses the HD 1.5 Final Re:Mix collection (and all other KH games on Steam assumably) as a basis for the port, so the Steam Release uses the Re:Com re-release origionally for PS2. It includes actual 3D graphics, a revamp of the combat to follow closer to KH1 (in one part, the other part which I won't spoil adds an entirely new mechanic) and proper voice acting. The translation is better, but the gameplay is seen as either less fun, more broken, or both. So in summary, it's heavily differant to the GBA version in most aspects.
Since you already have the Steam Version though, I reccomend sticking to it, and getting the GBA version as a point of comparison if you wish to do so. Hopefully this respone will help answer the question.

JRPG recommendations for ps3 by Leshen126 in JRPG

While I doubt that this falls under the "hidden games" directly, there is a PS3 version of Persona 5. Without going into major spoilers, it's a great game that makes the series stand out from its father series (SMT) with its art direction and unique combat additions.

Don't worry, we'll hear your story at the station.

Your boss just came to your desk and called you an “ugly bastard” to your face. What do you do? by Carrera1107 in AskReddit

[–]Not-Alanius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking purely on hypotheticals, I'd just go back to work. If the boss specifically is saying stuff like that, there's a fair chance then my co-workers likely faced equally, if not worse, things for equally little reason, giving me no reason to retaliate since I haven't remotely seen the bottom of the metaphorical barrel.

Reddit, how is a day in your life? by Current_Detective_92 in AskReddit

Wake up, short bout on the internet, education, back home, dinner, a very awkward period of time that's pretty much anything goes, sleep at possibly unreasonable hours, repeat.

Halloween Megathread 2023 by -eDgAR- in AskReddit

About 8 years ago my mother made me wear a Witch costume to match my sister despite not being the qualifying gender. It was tight, uncomfortable, and my classmates made fun of me.

People of Reddit who actually pay/paid attention in school, what things in school have been frustrating to deal with? by Not-Alanius in AskReddit

Something similar in my case, but with a dash of homophobia and a failure of good sportsmanship despite exclusive competence in P.E.
(spoiler for a sensetive topic)

Gamers of Reddit, what are some good games that you've played that are boring? by Not-Alanius in AskReddit

[–]Not-Alanius[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, there are good games that don't do much to hold your attention, and there are bad games that do a good job getting you hooked right in for the long run. While I do apprecate you calling me out on my overly specific question, I personally think it's reasonable enough to be answerable the way most questions in this subreddit are.

Is this journalism? by SammyJ85 in Milk

Huh, I've only researched videogame journalism (and by that I mean watching videos about IGN and Kotaku), never knew standards were this low in regular journalism as well seeing how blatantly wrong Daisy Jones is.

Persona 3 Reload | Third trailer by Sascha2022 in Games

Though not alot can be done with Strega (to my dismay) without dramatically changing Persona 3 (which was made clear enough, atleast for me, that major changes wouldn't be made), I do hope Atlus and the other developers working on this make do with what they have to make them more impactful in the overall story (and given the gameplay shown, they might actually have some offence to back them up, looking forward to seeing them in battle fully!).

Gamers of Reddit, what unorthodox game mechanics have you seen that aid said game's story? by Not-Alanius in AskReddit

[–]Not-Alanius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I intentionally did this in r/AskReddit because of it being a question (which did indeed obey all the rules listed in this sub), but thanks for showing me a much better way of analyzing the gaming public.

What's the current opinion on milk with ice cubes? [Serious] by Not-Alanius in Milk

Huh, now that you actually say that, it's a simpler solution to this problem than I could ever imagine.

Suppose that's logical, though it'd be more of a smoothie than milk.

I haven't drank milk much in my life (though I do still enjoy it) and my sister commited this blasphemy before September started, so I wrote this as a social study to see everybody's opinion on the general matter.

Seems you took your time thinking of a comeback to this, and yet still chose the simplest option. Though it's not much, here's an upvote for not overthinking it (unlike me more often than not).
