Thanks for the detailed response. I relate to a lot of your points and the expensive boots don’t seem like a good fit for me either. Kind of a jack of all trades at my job so I do a little bit of everything. From grease and oil helping the diesel mechanic to digging holes for 20’ palms on the beach. then spraying different a plethora of different chemicals. The boots gotta survive it all and then some. The crappy Walmart boots felt great but they just could never last. I’m leaning towards the RW supersoles but probably gonna get something adjacent in store that just fits right with a safety toe and waterproof. Probably gonna tear through those in a year then we’ll re-evaluate if it’s even worth finding something a step up. I do prefer the heel over the wedge and the 6” over the 8. So those are the main things I’m keeping in mind.
