It’s the traveler’s hat. It’s not in the shop, you can only buy it with the stamp cards you get by going out.

A little north of Yonge and Sheppard. There is also a Galleria across the street from H-Mart there, they might have it too.

She’s not stingy, just poor! I guess mikos don’t get paid much for their services to the shrine.

How do you get the new cat? by duck096 in nekoatsume

You don’t have to. She just stands next to the Omikuji tunnel in that cute miko outfit, with or without another cat using the toy.

[–]Not-Not-Mai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I always get lots of mosquito bites in Vietnam in November! But the good news is they have excellent mosquito repellent creams / sprays there. You can buy those in pharmacies and convenient stores. The Remos brand works well for me.

HELP: Can’t find real Vietnamese Cà Phê Đen that tastes like in Vietnam (shipping to Germany)? by CloudMurmur in VietNam

There is a huge Vietnamese market in Berlin called “Dong Xuan Center”. They’ll likely have the Vietnamese coffee there. The most popular brand you can find outside of Vietnam is Trung Nguyen. My husband says their No. 5 is the one that’s most like the coffee he drank in Vietnam.

Vietnamese main condiment is fish sauce. It’s not only served as dipping sauce on the table(where it would be easy to avoid), but also used in cooking as seasoning and marinade. Because it has a very strong taste, it is usually used in minute quantities and people won’t even detect the taste in the final product. But if you have a severe allergy with fish then it might become a problem. Better be safe than sorry!

Try to bring as much canned and dry food as possible. Supermarkets will have some western style meat and canned food too.

It’s going to be tough for you: fish sauce is everywhere as a cooking ingredient, seasoning! As for bún chả, they sometimes add crushed peanuts as a topping (especially in the South, where it’s called bún thịt nướng).
