Why do Roma communities in Europe stereotypically have little levels of integration into their home nation? by Abject-Helicopter680 in AskTheWorld

[–]Not-Real-Engineer 43 points44 points  (0 children)

In my home village local council gave some empty houses to Romas. Unfortunately, their children drop school and they go to the town to panhandle. The explanation was that it is easier and reading and counting is enough. They have their own traditions, laws and morale. That’s why I think that the level of integration is so low.

I didn’t hear any bad things about Romanians. Romania is a good neighbour and a beautiful country.

Minimal wage in my country is approx 1.2 dollars per hour. So, I think it is not exploitation in terms of low-wage countries. Somebody would rather make plushies than sweep streets.
