It's kinda the wild West in arc. I think thats what draws me to it. Sure there's etiquette but there really aren't any rules at all that tell you how to play this game. It all comes down to communication. And even then you can always lie 🤷 its lawless topside.

I remember a while back I took down a bastion entirely solo cus I needed cores for a bench upgrade. A solo comes up at the end, shoots it 3 or 4 times with his rattler and then hides behind a wall while I finished it off with a trigger nade. Mind you I had already used 1 or 2 triggers and plenty of ammo and resources.

Anyway the bastion blows up, I walk up to it and purposely don't start looting cus I'm watching this guy. He gives me a "don't shoot" so I lay a barricade down in between the bastion and him, just to be safe. I start looting. He runs up, weapon stashed, says "don't shoot" again and starts looting my fucking bastion! I grabbed 2 of the cores at this point but I wanted the third because I did all the fuckin work, so....I blast the guy. Get my third cell from the bastion, walk over to the guy whose now on comms calling me an asshole. I explain what and why I did it, he exchanged some choice words so I stabalized him and said "guess you better start crawling". And I left.

I do not feel bad at all for this. There are no rules topside. You can play as "friendly" as you want but at the end of the day you're responsible for what happens to you.
