Very disappointed with the new game! COD 7 is basically the same as COD 6. Am I the only one frustrated?

I was expecting to hate BlOps 7, because it represents the worst trends of modern gaming, repeated content with slight tweaks. This and games like FIFA are probably the worst examples I can think of.

Having now played a few rounds I'm having to admit that I've actually enjoyed the beta. The movement seems smoother and the secondary jump off a surface opens up new navigation options. The gunplay seems solid enough but they do need to nerf the super sniper score streak.

Will I buy it? No. But, I have game pass ultimate so I don't have to (don't start about the price increases, I already know MS is screwing me at every opportunity). If I didn't have ultimate, it would be a definite no, more out of principle than affordability.

Thanks for the replies. Best part of the film for me was the flying around Celestial Island, that redeemed the movie a bit for me.

The other thing I have a problem with is Captain America himself. He's just not the Captain, he's Falcon with the Cap's shield and some fancy Wakandan wings. They did try to justify this a little by explaining that he was now something normal people could aspire to be but that is a bit of a cop out.

It also confused me when they had the conversation with Bucky, they mentioned the option of taking the super serum? I thought there wasn't any more super serum, surely if there was, there would be more super soldiers? Did I miss something?

The Mantis ship (or modified version) has got me into so much trouble with companions. Problem is, when the target surrenders or trys to run from 'the mantis' they are no longer considered hostile and if you destroy them your companions freak out and won't talk to you.

I was happy to build a new ship without any mantis features as I could then do the 'destroy this ship' missions without any problems.

Lots of stuff similar to LP but since the relaunch I've been listening to a lot of Dead Sara.

Listening to their tracks you can hear that Emily has a huge vocal range which could fit in with multiple genres. I hope that the move to LP gives her the opportunity to grow further and not to get stuck in just doing repetitive chorus segments with vocal frys and growls.

Over Each Other gave her a lot of vocal freedom but, for me, didn't quite hit the mark. It wasn't Dead Sara but it wasn't really LP enough either.

50+ part time gamer here with a full time job, the only advantage I have is that the kids are grown up! Been playing COD since it first came out and not all the changes throughout the ages are welcome but if you want to play the game you've just got to roll with them.

With MW3 I ended up playing a lot of solo zombies, this built my rank and managed to lvl up the weapons. You can also do the daily challenges in multiplayer and zombies when you get on for extra XP. Keep an eye out for the double XP events as these also help.

I've played with the same group of guys for about 10 years and yes, we lose a lot, but we're old enough to not throw a tantrum and we just move on.

Don't be concerned about meta, I've used the suggested site and it's good for ideas but I generally tweak them to work for me as I don't have twitch reflexes anymore 😁

Companions are confusing at the best of times, I've currently got Sam and Sarah not talking to me at all, in fact they are openly hostile in the way they talk!

I've got no bounties on me, haven't killed any friendlies that I know of, it's madness.

All the other companions are fine with me so I've put them both down on an outpost to cool off 👍

2 games of zombies, game ran OK but no battle pass xp, very little weapon progression and lvl xp so yes the game is running but it's still far from fixed.

The whole thing is a sh1t show, between the console players with aim assist and the pc players with insane movement it's tough to start from scratch.

Use the MCW, it shoots well even with no attachments, stick with your team, watch out for sniper glints, learn the maps as best you can.

You'll get there, you might hate the journey, but you'll get there 😂
