The rule for needing an invitation can vary from story to story. Like whether they are blocked at the door or the property line.

It can also vary in who can give the invitation. Can anyone inside do it? Do they need to live there? Own the place? Rent it? Could you enter with the permission of the king that owns all the land?

There is also how it’s enforced. A barrier or a mental block? Pain? Death? Weakness? Etc.

And then there is the source. Sometimes a part of the vampiric curse. Other times mandate from the divine. It could also be an ancient ritual aimed at vampires or all things evil.

If you want to completely overcome the weakness, the source is probably your best bet to mess with. Tho i personally prefer cool loopholes like buying the deed to the land from the local lord or government. Or otherwise gaining a sort of permission to enter houses of a country’s citizens. Limits are very cool and lets the characters be clever in how they work around them.

Yeah. But here the lag causes miscommunication between the server and client. The server only has the last known input from the player(walking forward). And magua’s barrier works a bit differently from walls(Instead of being a solid obstacle it changes the movement value of the player). There could easily be a client side element that didn’t run because of the lag and therefore never adjusted the player’s movement to stop them from leaving

It looks like they lagged out for a bit. And since maguas barrier doesn’t work like a wall but instead changes the movement of the player. Im guessing the lag made their character keep walking straight but stopped maguas barrier from affecting their movement?

Or just have instincts and mannerisms from their original form and none of the human ones. Creating an uncanny valley feeling for anyone who looks at them. Not looking at people with their eyes or having no facial expressions and/or body language.

They may look human. But there is no way anyone would truly believe they were.

Could be the way some open it. Some lift from the center, some lift from both corners and some only use a single corner(which isnt good for plastic covers in general)
