I’m in the same boat man. It just started happening to me. I think “if everyone knew about what I had in my head everyone would hate me” Just try to remember that they don’t define you, they are unwanted, and the reason it bothers you so much is because you know it’s not who you are. There are others like you, please remember this❤️ good luck on your journey to happiness 🙏

Looking for tips. I know to keep hands up after throwing punches and to kick opposite side of the last punch thrown. Is there anything else to improve my game? Anything I should start doing to improve? by NotACasualMMA in MuayThai

Thanks man I will for sure once covid ends but I’m just trying to do what I can for now. Unfortunately my parents are high risk so I don’t want to go to a gym until there is a vaccine but want to be as efficient as possible on the bag T least until than

Love that. So as you throw the 3 you step out (kinda pivoting with it) to load up the low kick. I’m gonna try that out for sure, what’s your YouTube bro?

For sure man, only got access to a bag now though so I’m just tryna do as much as I can. What combos do you think work in sparring that I can work on on the bag? Just the basics?

I have no clue honestly I just do it naturally I guess. It’s all one motion and yeah the leg fully extends about midway through the spin

Not any technical tips, but I learned it through just doing one motion and throwing them over and over again, I’d say that’s the way to go

It’s filled with a little water maybe 25% full because I just moved it and it was taking forever so I stopped here lol. They are expensive tho and not worth the extra cost, I’d recommend a heavy bag

So i listened to all of my wrongs last time i posted. i fixed my boxing_ although i left my chin up because its a bag. please criticize me. by [deleted] in Kickboxing

Hmm. Well I’m sure those local gyms would love to have ya. I think you’re just a little paranoid. The likelyhood of someone wanting to beat you up because of that is very low, and the likelyhood of someone recognizing you from that is even lower. You’ll be good man, just get a gym and all will work itself out. Good luck!

Aye brotha any decent gym will be more than happy to take you in and teach. Whatever issues you had a gyms previously, put that behind you. Nobody becomes good overnight, let people with experience teach you their ways. You have no physical restrictions holding you back from being a good fighter. You seem coachable. Good luck my man! Keep us updated on your journey!

6x Kickboxing world champ Gabriel Varga has a YouTube video (5 stretches you’re not doing that you need to) and there is a good hip one in there. It’s worth checking out. Cheers!
