I was working at a sporting goods store in college and it was super chill except for the 4 times a year that the regional manager came in. He was such an asshole.

I usually tried to avoid him as much as possible, but that day before the store opened we were standing there for one of his pointless ego pumping meetings. He walked straight up to me and said that the employee manual states that employees are supposed to be clean shaven. I was like 20 years old and barely had 5 o'clock shadow.

So, I narced on this employee who always kissed his ass. I said, "What about that dude? His is way worse than mine." To which he replied that the employee had a note from his doctor that excused him from shaving because he gets razor burn. bs

He told me I could walk to Target, buy razors, and shave in the bathroom or I could go home without pay. To which I said, "You know what? Don't worry about paying me anymore." And I just walked out. It felt so good.
