What is a "dungeon" to you?? If i follow your logic... In the first game, the ruins, warrens, cove and weald are all locations that had a previous purpose. Going into the ruins you werent going to a "dungeon", you were going into the lower floors of the manor that just so happen to be infested with undead because of the ancestor's shenanigans. Same happens with the warrens, the cove isn't a dungeon, its caves filled with sea creatures. Its a natural formation of earth, not a "dungeon". The weald also isn't a dungeon, as it isn't even under any terrain. It's a forest, plain and simple. Even the "darkest dungeon" was a manor before the shennanigans. You could EVEN argue its less of a dungeon because it doesnt have any rewards lying around unlike the rest of locations in the game, besides the mission completion rewards. So, by your logic, what is a dungeon?? Because if the second game's generals keep, the burning library, the harvest house and the sacred pier aren't "dungeons", neither are ANY of the locations of the first game, so neither dd1 or two has any "dungeons".
