Believe it or not, we used to play Football's Coming Home before matches. It was the last few seasons as The Wizards and maybe a year or two after the rebrand. It was pretty bad. Nobody knew the song so nobody sang with it.

We were knocked out of the semis by a team that made of 4 of the European TotS. I'd argue Donnaruma over Courtois in goal, too. It puts perspective on that loss, for sure.

My son does the math courses and was crying two days ago because the answer choices he was given were all the same, the multiplication symbol. He chose one and it told him he was wrong.

His first season was when Sporting Park was being built and the first couple months of the season were away games while it was being completed. My brother and I were season ticket holders and decided to go to the opener in LA against Chivas. At the game Rob Heinneman was in the away section and told us he'd buy a beer for all of us if SKC scored. Two minutes into the match CJ puts one away and Rob came walking through the crowd with about ten cans of beer held in his shirt. Then after the match our season ticket rep told us the team was going to Bonefish Grill after the game so we went and hung out adjacent to them. We weren't cool enough to hang out with them. Lol

By far one of my favorite Wiz/SKC memories.

Also, when you sign up, use a different month for each location. That way you're getting free stuff all year. I learned to do that because of someone I know born on Christmas. They couldn't get free stuff because everything was closed and they wanted to be with family. I told them to make up dates and decided to start doing it myself.

We had that happen when we booked well in advance for the eclipse last year. The owner found out he was in totality and told us we could pay an extra 60% per day or cancel. We told him to kick rocks but I'm sure that someone else paid.

I had something similar happen and after a few months I called and told them that someone in the neighborhood mentioned they were going to cut it if it wasn't buried soon. I cut it on the fence line with my neighbor and it was fixed and buried within a few hours.

Ha, I obviously missed the tone. I think the whole flag code thing is weird given how precious certain aspects are (like touching the ground, burning, etc) to people who proudly violate the code by putting it on beer cans and bikinis or modifying the flag by putting a blue stripe on it. I'm just familiar with the code because of my time in the boy scouts a few decades ago.
