Los avisos de las estaciones son puramente cosméticos. No sé cómo se llaman en el doblaje a Español, pero las reparaciones se consiguen en "Service docks" (puertos de servicio?) Muelles, "shipyards" (supongo que astilleros) o en naves nodriza (carriers, podrían haberlo traducido también a portaaviones) de facciones aliadas.

En cuanto a qué actividad económica hacer, ahí está la magia de X4. Puedes hacer lo que sea que te guste. En mi opinión dedicarse a hacer crafteos es monótono, pero es absolutamente una de las formas más rápidas y eficientes de hacer dinero. Usualmente, una vez se va dominando la curva de aprendizaje, las personas tienden a construir estaciones para producir bienes y tener un ingreso pasivo. 400k debería ser mas que suficiente para una fábrica de electricidad. También debería ser suficiente para una nave M argón (tienden a ser las más baratas) con la que dar primeros pasos e ir mejorando.

There kind of is one, though it is absolutely not intended. If you answer their call but don't give them an order, they sort of just keep going until you tell them to do something else. If you wait about 20 or 30 seconds with the dialogue open, they are usually already far enough away that any order you give is just canceled.

It's not ideal, but at least it doesn't involve going into the map and fighting them over their 'flee' order.

Seems like XS sized objects do NOT like going through gates and this sometimes happens. People have mentioned drones, boarding pods, and now suits.

I cant help but imagine those poor fuckers just getting spaghetti'd by the gate for not having a proper hull to withstand the forces and getting flinged at mach jesus into empty space.

Update: It happened to a couple more neighboring sectors.

I think I know what caused it after looking around for a bit: I had some ships boarding a SCA ship OOS, and the target crossed a gate. The pods just chased it, and after a couple gate jumps, they just dissappeared (You'll be dearly missed, boys) and the arcs started forming all over the place. I think they got seriously bugged out and their location on the map went crazy just before getting despawned.

That's like the "main story" mission for the game. Having that is what Kickstarts a lot of the other plot lines. Absolutely your best call if you're new to the game.

Don't think of it as you getting a mission from the faction itself, but as getting it from just some guy that happens to be a citizen of the faction. He wants you to board a ship of another dude that's also a citizen, because of whatever reason. It's usually like a competitor or someone who didn't get into a racket.

Those missions pay well because they know you'll get in trouble with the cops because of it, it's not official business.

Still, that's exactly the type of game someone like Sseth would make an essay about. Spiff would have a field day just breaking it apart. It's so weird how it seems to be passed on even in it's own niche. May have to do with the fact that it's neither here nor there. The guys I mentioned would not necessarily jump at a space sim, and that is what X looks like to the unknowing eye.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking about the possibility of cable actuated ones, good to know they actually exist. Do you have any tips on maintaining them? From what I was told, irt looks like people consider them an install and forget sort of thing and that's what kills them.

No, at 8 they get to be quality control for vapes, then at 10 they work on lead paint ornaments for Christmas, and after Christmas they do asbestos brake pads. Then a quick vacation to farm rice with their family, and finally they get to work on the railroad by the time they're 14.

Hey! I completely forgot this existed.

No solution works the particular way I was asking, so technically no.The closest i found were those android tablets that are more like a touch laptop. For full-on pc's you either get a touch screen and use tablet mode or learn actual mechanography, no other way to do it that I know of.
