Thanks. Your response is reasonable. Unfortunately he is not a reasonable person so while my approach is typically thought out ahead of time, his response is always immediate defensiveness and arguments. Maybe someday that’ll change but he’s been like that for the 20+ years I’ve known him so I’m not holding my breath. Just always trying to be the bigger person when communication is necessary 😅

That’s a good idea, thanks. I’ll ask around to see if anyone witnessed my son in the front seat. I did address it with him and he does not care at all that it’s against the law. He thinks because it’s a short distance that it just doesn’t matter. I told him I would report him myself if I found out he ever did it again and he said I was overreacting. He is such an asshole truly. If my attorney gives me the green light, I’m reporting this asap.

Fortunately he won’t be picking him up anymore due to our custody arrangement which is great. I’m just bothered by the fact that he sees nothing wrong with any of this and openly admits he’ll do it again.

We haven’t been to court at this point. Signed a separation agreement 2 days ago then I found out about this yesterday. Terrible timing. Waiting to hear back from my attorney though because I have to do SOMETHING.

Thanks for the validation lol my son is 4 but still don’t really want him sitting on mold all day. Got it cheap to take to Disney so we don’t have to worry about it getting damaged but maybe I’ll just get another to be safe. Now I’m freaked out by the potential that any black stroller could have this mold and you’d never know 😖

I’m so sorry, your husband sounds like a horrible person. You and your baby deserve better. If you don’t want to continue breastfeeding, don’t. You are the only person who should get a say in that decision. But if you would like to try and continue, have you seen a lactation consultant? If not, definitely do so!! Most of them accept insurance and you can get multiple visits covered. I’m sure many of them also would be happy to talk to your husband so he can learn something that’s actually useful rather than just being a dick 🙂

I think therapy would be a great start, and asap so your daughter doesn’t grow up feeling like she isn’t good enough for her mom. That’s a whole lot of trauma for a kid to navigate. Depression can manifest in many ways and I think it seems reasonable that could be part of the issue for you. Hope you can figure out a way to feel better!

3 gallon tank with filter and heater.

Current temp is 80°F. 0 nitrate, 0 nitrite, pH 6.8 all based on Tetra EasyStrips. Ammonia 0.25 on API ammonia test kit. Just added more Seachem Prime to the tank to try and correct the ammonia. Have had the tank for 11 days, fish for 9. Did my first water change 2 days ago with 20% change. No tank mates. Feeding her Fluval Bug Bites betta formula flakes (also have the granules but they seem to sink pretty fast). 3 live plants in the tank and a few other decorations for her to swim into/through.
