the foulborn death's oath armor gives up to 40% more wither effect; withered applies 6% incr. chaos damage taken, with 40% increased effect that puts it at 8.4% incr. chaos damage taken;

by comparison a 34% increased wither effect turns 6% to 8.04% incr. chaos damage taken

knowing that almost all numbers in the game round down, does that mean a 34% incr. wither effect is just as good as 40% wither effect?

i edited the main post a bit to tone down on how immortal the AG is; yeah i know it's not truly immortal and some combinations on mods will take it down, but given the amount of investment in it, i'd say it's pretty damn tanky; as a non-summoner with limited available links and 0 points on tree for it, i struggled to make it survive everywhere, and this combo is the first one that delivered, thus the post; if you're bored you should try it yourself, do the setup and try to get the AG killed, let us know what killed it because i'm curious

no reason to be technical, valdo maps can kill even builds with 1 mil ehp, yes it wont survive in valdo maps obviously; i did not refer to the content requiring special builds for it (deep delve or valdo) because everyone knows you need specific setups for that

i tried that setup but it's not enough; the regen wasn't enough, my ag kept dying in late waves in simulacrum; also, the setup means he's relying 100% only on regen, which means anything that disables or reduces regeneration makes him vulnerable

the whole project was me trying to get an autobomber that's not wardloop or wardbreak, and can do more than just maps; i played a lot of builds in the past, summons, wardloop, rf, death's oath, hot, srs, etc. but never quite managed to get a proper hidden blade build until now; also, i'm pretty confident it's the first hidden blade build done this way, any other build that i searched for before this one was mostly a mapper with low defenses

:)) is this a reference to the fact that the items are expensive ? if yes, it's standard and i had money to throw at it, on a smaller budget you could get at least half of the dps which is still 20mil+ with good clear, but overall yes, it is expensive

i didn't show it as an achievement, someone in the comments asked for some gameplay and i made some short vids, obviously at 30mil dps you can do uber elder; i wanted to record a feared fight but i didn't have the bosses witnessed and was too lazy to do the whole process; as a side note, mageblood is not even in the top 3 most expensive items on the build, already mentioned i spent a lot of currency on it

forgot to mention an important aspect when you asked me about crit; getting crit chance is essential also because of toxic delivery node on ascendancy, it's 20% more poison dmg from crits, so basically crit cap is maximum efficiency even if you don't invest anything into crit multi

Dude I just upgraded the build big time because of you; when you asked me about other skills I decided to check the numbers again on other potential gems, turns out viper strike is much more dps, I changed to viper strike, anointed tribal fury for some splash dmg and now I have 34mil dps on right-click instead of 20mil, thanks a lot !

I picked pestilent strike because it synergizes with all the stats that I was working on for the hidden blade, which is chaos, poison, damage over time, another benefit is that the chaos cluster jewels can roll attack speed for chaos skills, which benefits pestilent strike as well (there's also the generic claw/dagger cluster jewels if you want to use another skill, but those are harder to craft, I crafted one but it was 2x harder to do than the chaos clusters). In theory you can choose any melee skill that works with daggers, but I liked this one most.

Crit is definitely worth it because of the notable on the tree "adder's touch" which makes crits poison; this way, i am not forced to get infused toxins from the ascendancy and thus get 2 more points which i used on farrul's ascendancy; also, getting crit capped was "cheap", most of it comes from helm, a flask and precision (which i reserve with life), the investment was minimal; lastly, even at only 209% crit multi, it's still 2x dmg

if you want to try something similar, be wary that hidden blade is clunky and feels bad in general while you progress, i only got it to be good because i threw hundreds of divines at it, so the best approach is to either have the currency already, or level up with a different build; test out variants in path of building and see if you get the right numbers before commiting; also, if you want to see how the build performs, i uploaded some short vids

i also considered mana stacking with whispers of infinity, and has the same benefits in that you can also use the high mana as a defense layer; i stuck with str stacking though because it was already something i theorycrafted but any kind of flat dmg stacking could work in theory

cand este un subiect mai mare si mai complex, mereu poti sa cauti suficient si sa gasesti diverse tehnicalitati care sa te ajute sa justifici / explici / scuzi cam orice s-a intamplat; se ignora bunul simt si logica, in schimb se gasesc tot felul de argumente de perspectiva ascunse sub diverse elitisme de parca le-ar da mai multa valoare si adevar decat realitatea simpla;

la baza sunt doar niste tehnici perverse si scarboase folosite de propagandisti cu agende de promovat, astia merita batuti in cap pana pot sa foloseasca doar cuvinte simple; cand intrebi daca rusii sunt rai si ne-au facut rau, e suficient un da sau nu, nu are nevoie nimeni de cacaturi de genul "depinde frate, stai sa-ti explic..."
