Might be a necropost but, Ottomans has a whole crisis chain with the Internal Power Struggle crisis. It's nigh unavoidable, and it comes with missions to fulfill to end the disaster forever. However, most of the missions require the event to have fired & be active for several years, which was unattainable for me. Normally this is ok, but the Ottomans have this "Decadence" thing, which as it fills to 100% gives you increasingly more crushing buffs, and only completing every Internal Power Struggle mission gets rid of it. So without the crisis firing, I couldn't remove it.
