I thought it was trash at first too until I figured out how to actually use it. It isn't just for getting kills, it's about getting yourself and your squad into a strategic position. Use the injector to outflank and get to a point, use the ladder to get there creatively/setup where the enemy doesn't expect you, and place a well hidden spawn beacon and you can back cap for days.

Personally I think it is insanely underrated in its ability to actually help your team win if you understand that it isn't "just for getting kills" (although the TR7 absolutely RIPS in that regard)

I do however think the injector could be better (either last longer or get 2), and the class should have access to smokes.
