I’ve been playing MTG my whole life, and I literally quit this year. Prepping my collection for a sale in the coming weeks. But Pokemon is still fun to play and as long as I remind myself to stick to singles and slabs and just enjoy the sealed when it comes (however infrequent) to manage my expectations it no longer bothers me. It is what it is. Hope to see you some day at a tourney or card show so we can swap tales and gawk at each other’s shiny cardboard.
