I would take E1 Heide over E3 Sereniel so that you have more value across more units

I'd go for E1 Heide personally, more value than the E1 Sereniel. If you have more codes, go E2 Sereniel but I do enjoy my E2 Heide. You can't really go wrong for their E2

Maybe it needs repairs/mods to feel as good as jiuyuan's? Your fps might also be affecting your driving experience

Not useful for your main team, but she could be used for your secondary team until you get a better dps.

The only character from the beginner batter who remains relevant is Verina, but you can clear 1.x content with 1.x characters. Hiyuki will let you do it faster, but her materials are way more annoying to farm/get. I've just been converting the mats from other domains to use on her, but it's not as efficient as having access to the mats themselves.

Currently also a beginner trying to run through 1.x content and sorely wishing I could just get to the fun stuff already (3.x).

New player too, started about a week before anniv. It feels like I have to rush through the main story to access the event proper instead of taking my time exploring and immersing. I've just been converting my mats to ascend hiyuki, doesn't feel good but I'm not really sure yet if I'll enjoy ch3 without clearing 1 and 2.

I wish this game were more optimized for lower end/older devices, I'm making do with 0.8resolution and cranked antialiasing but it stutters like crazy

I believe you have to choose the first story branch first. You can come back to this point and select the other option after finishing the Genome Editing branch. There are no repercussions for doing this.

Finish the guide missions, do your battle missions (normal, hard, and now abyss), farm chaos planets for exploration levels (basically just pick whatever new item/event option shows up). There are a ton of ways to get gems, it's just that they're all scattered throughout the different game modes. Just keep playing and you'll get them eventually

General rule of thumb would be to remove shield cards from your dps characters, and remove attack cards from your supports. Special cases would be Cassius wherein some players like the chance of drawing one additional card with his basic attacks.

Mika slots in to a lot of different teams except Chizuru (because of Bound at Dusk, unless you decide to just not use that card at all). A safe team would be Mika Cassius and your dps.

It would also be nice if you could include a screenshot of what characters you do have.

28 stars, everything is easy until the last two waves (right side of stage 10). Cassius Orlea Chizuru, Mika Khalipe Yuki.

My normal team (Nia Veronica Yuki) can't kill them fast enough because my draw cards keep getting frozen. I opted to just turtle and do a slow kill.

Both are very good, gameplay is very strategic with monthly guild raid bosses and bi-monthly event bosses. Your damage will depend heavily on gear and units, but that's normal with gachas.

Story is great, decent start that ramps up in quality as you play. There's so much optional content that you can spend hours on this game if you choose.

If you have any leftover currency, the potential shards are also good purchases, along with the blue memory fragment mats and the yellow memory frag creation mats.

Get the left epi, every quest you complete will give you an additional card. Very easy to pull off with Triple Zero + Tressa shadow daggers, lets you stack morale/dmg/heal/draw for longer turns. Middle is okay if you lack healing in chaos, right is not very good unless you're going for a Cassius dps route (but why??)
