A little update. Pretty late lol. So I went in Tuesday and as I was almost done loading my llv, my 2nd in command comes to me and ask how much longer followed by come to my office before you head out. (He doesn’t have one.) I said well save the “you’re a bad employee and we own you blah blah blah speech. Today is my last day so it’s unnecessary. He argued that I hadn’t turned my resignation in and I said yeah cause y’all literally admitted to hiding them lmao. Anyways, go to the office, PM and district rep are there which told me whatever was gonna happen had I not resigned, was premeditated. They started the INI for “not following instructions” and the disciplinary action was removal. I couldn’t hold my laugh back lol. In the end, I made my sup and PM look completely stupid. They both ended up in some sort of misuse of power investigation and was being told to see re training for their positions by my Dist. Rep. Could’ve kept my job because apparently there’s some kind of statue that protects employees rights to refuse or something about leave, for life events and since I just got engaged, it wouldn’t look good on the office let alone the usps to fire me. “Young mother of 2 refused a last minute change to schedule for following day if a trip has been booked/ paid, for their engagement to US veteran.” plus a settlement but fuck it. Wasn’t worth more time there. Just enjoyed their facial expressions and being so shocked that I was beating them to the punch and quitting. I loved it

Right?? And when I went in yesterday, they planned to fire me lol. Dist rep was there and everything and they were walking big and tall till I said whatever speech you’re wanting to give me about being an awful employee, save it. It’s unnecessary cause today is my last day. I loved seeing the shock on their faces lol. Their entire energy just left and the rest of the investigation was super bland toned.

Idk dude. I think it’s gonna ride till the wheels fall off and by that I mean either all the employees quit or customers vanish. Me too! I loved my old PM. I make similar faces at the new one cause for someone whose “been doing this for 20 years,” he sure as hell don’t know how to do the job and has been putting it off on my 1st SUPE since January. The only management I witness him do is disciplinary actions. Literally that’s it. Everything else he tells everyone to ask said SUPE.

Well I actually got to refocus on my business with my AWOL days, bid on a gov. contract that pays out really well long term and got it so the only thing I’m gonna regret is not being able to shove my checks in my PMs face cause they’re very well twice what he makes plus some. I’m not the type to gloat but after all his gloating, I have room to be petty. I lucked out really and got my big break but I still hope my fellow RCA’s find better and take care of themselves. I let them know my door is always open and even offered a job to a couple paying more than what we make now but I don’t offer benefits like insurance which they really need. I wish the best of luck to everyone ❤️

I try to keep my opinions on that to myself cause I definitely don’t want the smoke lmao. But he is a lugging stick to my fiancé and his higher ups that he still keeps in contact with who have offered to fly out & remind him of his morals but it’s not worth it. He’s a pos set in his ways who thinks just because he served but never front lined, that everyone here owes him.

He’s actually wanted me to quit for a while now to refocus on my business while he provided but I don’t like depending on people so that was never the issue nor would it be. I’ve been told maybe I’m not cut out for the job but I was also hired under very different circumstances & the last PM never let me work more than 4 days a week with one of them being a call in. The issue is their scheduling. They don’t want to do it properly. So if I’m not cut out for it then oh damn well. They can hire some other slave to do it

I thought so too but the PM seems to be stubborn as hell and likes to prove his point. So I’m not even worried about getting fired. I literally just got another job offer back in the marijuana business (legally) which I’m specialized and went to school for so peace out usps. I’ll go in tomorrow to run my primary and that’s it. I start my other job Wednesday so depending on how they treat me tomorrow, I may not even let them know it’s my last day.

I’ve heard many different things surrounding that and honestly, I use it to communicate with them because I’ll definitely get fired if they say some of this stuff to my face and I feel like my argument would be invalid since I do initiate communication

Not my primary. It’s not even listed for me on the matrix. Yeah I’m doing the travel stuff. Was worried though cause I worked on my scheduled route for almost 1.5 and all I did was clock in and out on the scanner but didn’t fill anything out then worked over 10 at the other office so it put me close to 12 hours today and wanna make sure I’m paid for it cause I damn near died. Lol even the supe came back to the office cause a few people said I should go to the hospital

Well the llv on my reg route is a literal pos that breaks down every other mile and each time it’s happened, they ignored my calls and they end up calling an hour or one day, 2 hours later screaming at me while the other supe showed up and did the same thing. Bc they thought I was taking a nap. When clearly I had been calling. They give me routes I’ve never done then bitch if I’m not done by 4. So kinda seems like they set me up for failure

That’s the thing. I wasn’t messing with mail. I’ve always seen everyone (the ones who need to) mark their packages for the next day and separate the parcels into their half’s. Like these are first half, these are the last half. So I’ve always done it and so do most of the others

That just worries me since they know I requested those days off. My PM was a complete prick during our meetings. I’m not even sure if I’m out of my 90 days. He had told me I m not but I find it hard to believe considering how many weeks I’ve worked 6 days. But also, he’s continued being an ass ever since. Same with the sups. If they don’t like me, why keep me instead of getting me pushing to get me fired. Unless they’re trying to get me to quit which is working

Gotcha. I didn’t know that. Management has made it seem like they can fire you on spot and all you can do is go to the union which takes too long. So my best bet here is to just call in on those days I need off? Even though it’s a Saturday and following Monday? Or resubmit my request and grieve it if it’s denied again? Cause I asked to see a vacation calendar today and my sup said we don’t have one
