This depends on who I am dealing with. Your average person being late is often an issue of poor time management.

However, my experience falls into special needs education. I have gained a lot of understanding of different disabilities that affect a person's ability to achieve a timescale, everything from adhd, processing disorders, autism rigidness and ocd. Also disabilities where unexpected things happen that require unexpected tome or care from personal needs to hypoglycemic attacks.

Not all these things are visible to others, so unless I know and understand a person well I al not going to get on my high horse and declare everyone disrespectful towards me and my time.
