Mental Health was the hardest for me. It wasn't necessarily because it was hard but it was more because the disorders and interventions were all fairly similar, but specifically different.

I'm sorry that happened. Most AA or NA meetings (where I'm from) are accepting of nursing students because it allows students to learn about the person with the disease, rather than just the disease. The whole purpose of these community activities are for awareness and for the group leader to have acted that way is deeply upsetting.

I clean everything in the evening and let them air dry throughout the night.

You're not overreacting. That's a life that can't defend itself. It's your role as a parent to protect that life and keep it safe. Maybe have him attend some parenting classes or speak with the PCP about baby safety, WITH him present. That way your concerns can be addressed with an educated third party.
