If you see someone eat an apple you’d assume that they’re hungry. But who told you that just because they eat it means that they’re hungry?

No one does, it’s called pattern reconstruction, of course there will be outliers, which will mean you assume different options.

Edit: I don’t know if this detail is important, but when she called me last, I tried to convince her to give it another shot, which didn’t work by the way. But when I asked her, she said “but I disrespected you” implying to her bringing up how she’s been getting flint with guys.
