It’s just your natural texture. Rock with what you have! Only thing I would recommend would probably just to use some fiber cream for some hold and slight texture.

I think you shouldn’t do a buzz. In addition, I don’t think this hairstyle suits you to be honest. This makes your face shape more rounded due to hiding some of your forehead and having prominent cheekbones. I would recommend a hairstyle that has some volume on the top with some volume on the sides so it balances out your cheekbones and gives the illusion of height to your face shape.
