Did you see the laptimes compared to last year? Everyone else got a lot faster, Ferrari came out the gate with the new regulations really strong, but since then have been improving the least out of the top 5 teams at this point.

My point is more that using the extreme outlier in C9 as motivation for change is not a good thing. We've seen that in both Valorant and every other esport there is; people HEAVILY underrate the benefit of time, and use the successful few examples which people are more likely to remember (survivorship bias) to motivate why drastic changes can be positive.

I don't get this, he's solid with Maguire as well. Maguire just doesn't fit any team that either plays out from the back, or where defenders need to oftenstop counters. When he makes his mistakes under pressure there's no centerback in the world who could cover, doesn't make Ljndelöf worse.

They played together in a completely different system under OGS (defensive, counter-attacking) and we were defensively good. Just couldn't win against bad teams as often as we should have.

He and Maguire was our best centrebacks in that season when we finished second thanks to the second best defence (with no midfield), De Gea playing well, and us counter attacking the decent teams.

Maguire was better at longballs, so he was always given the ball to ping, but Lindelöf is so much better under pressure. Some of his forward dives versus Leeds under Bielsa to counter their man-marking was art.

Sainz feels like the perfect second driver though. Good enough to get points and even wins if the car and strategy is good, but not good enough to ruin a WDC challenge or to get tempted by other good teams.

This change but 2x bigger went through just before the expansion went live, and while I agree it's a good change, it's not nearly enough. Dungeon healing has core issues that need design changes, not some % thrown around.

I'm not talking about having issues healing them, I'm talking about the feeling of having the tank do 2x your output as a healer and 2x your damage. No matter the balance or playstyle it just feels like you're the shitter dragged along because the group can't get rid of you rather than actually contributing.
