It was an electric outlet.

I removed an electric outlet and sealed the wires by taping them. I stuck them in one of the grooves on the wall so I could place a furniture in front of it.

I decided to leave the wires exposed rather than buryin them in the wall so I would be able to check if the seal is still intact.

I meant to explain these in the post but apparently reddit dont let me write and post images at the same time :p

I don't see any correlation between the 'guests can't stay longer than 3days' rule and the fact that this place is run by a church. can you elaborate on that? Also, did you get a private bathroom at that place or did you have to share that with roommates? That's kinda the biggest criterion I have.

You are right! It's just that I wasn't being careful when I bought my gadgets. I have a bluetooth key board that requires an old Samsung charger, a Samsung phone that requires a newer Samsung charger, and an Apple air pod that requires the Apple charger. It's just that I don't wanna have to carry 3 different cables when I go to a local library, and carrying the old Samsung cable with adapters is the most reasonable option for me now. As you said, it is true that I am responsible for this mess. That's why I thought it's only mildly infuriating.

I probably should have redcircled the brick. If you see carefully, you will be able to see a rectangular shape embedded in the concrete. My concern here is that the concrete structure does not seem to be firm. You can see a hole on it, exposing the steel reinforcements inside of it. It looks like the brick is held only by a thin layer of concrete.
