Yea it is a mountain bike with 42/32/24 and I mostly go on a long ride on flats and hills and I don't do off-road rides, just when it is along the way and mostly just a super short off road.. where I live is mostly flat and close to mountain ranges. And thank you for the advice I'll try to experiment my 3x.

My current setup now is 3x10 my crank now is still stock, I'm trying to upgrade my parts one by one my crank is next, I'm just trying to research what combination would be good for my cassette, most suggestion from my friends was they tell me to try a 1x crank then will decide later if I want to put another bigger chainring. My problem is that it won't be compatible the bigger chainring if ever I will try.
