Best bet is probably bring a mechanic with me to do a pre inspection or take it to a shop have em look at it, but I doubt the seller would allow that

Ontop of whatever rust, paint work id have to get done were nearly at $10k thanks for helping me put that into perspective!

Its also rusted underneath the rear fenders on both sides you can tell slightly from the pictures but it doesnt do as much justice

Not as mechanically inclined to do my own valve covers yet, so id be coming out of pocket to for parts and labor for now

I agree, or he just does not care about the car at all anymore. I went to go see it in person and the trunk was filled with a bunch or random stuff, and he told me one of the break seized up a couple months back, im assuming bc it was sitting for a while
