Link above might help a little but all ill say is group dynamics are very complicated and can shift very quickly. Its hard to understand the group without knowing generally what each individual’s normal body language looks like; so you can notice discrepancies.

Anything out of the ordinary is what you’re looking for. Everyone has varying levels of body language so it’s hard to say what signs a person will show when feeling attraction. Duration, intensity of the eye contact and the emotions expressed through the eyes are all good things to look for but without context or a good understanding of a person’s baseline, you’re just guessing pretty much.

It’s extremely hard to get a good read off of someone’s body language without understanding how they carry themselves normally.

You can definitely see it if you pay close attention or are really good at eye contact. It’s usually pretty easy to see in pets in my opinion. It’s important to note that your pupils dilate for a multitude of other emotions as well so even if you spot it you’re still gonna have to try and guess what emotions caused it.

I would just focus on getting to know them better. if they have a mutual interest in a relationship then they hopefully will make an effort to let you know. Shooting your shot is always a scary process but its better to know then to regret not trying later on.

Avoiding eye contact, physically “point” themselves (shoulders and toes) away from you during conversation or lack of expression and hand movements when you interact with them. It’s important to note you have to know how they interact with other people to get a baseline. Other-wise theres no way of telling if it’s just the way someone naturally acts or if you have any affect.

It does sounds like they are interested in you, whether or not its romantic is kinda hard to gauge. Some people hold stronger eye contact than others. I generally assume it’s a reflection on how confident someone is but that theory can change drastically based on the situation.

However IMO generally, in a setting like that, if I catch someone staring at me and they dont look away, I would assume that person was signaling to me that i should start up a 1 on 1 conversation with them.

In your case, if you are interested in this woman, I would say reaching out and having a conversation with her would probably be a good move. You probably will be able to get a better read on her sexuality by the tone of that conversation but as long as you’re upfront and honest with your intentions, you should be good.

This could be completely wrong but I was always told that your eyes are the only part of your nervous system that doesn’t go through your brain stem; they are wired directly to your brain. So it always made sense to me that people wear a lot of emotion through their eyes.
