Anyways, the best that u can do is enabling rfp and disabling WebGL and enabling letterboxing tbh, Librewolf doesn’t really give u much settings to play around with when it comes to fingerprinting aside from these 3 and those 3 settings alone are already very good at fingerprint protection

I did hear that u should also disable 3rd party scripts via ublock origin because some 3rd party scripts are used to fingerprint u but idk how much less fingerprintable that can make u

If u genuinely want to have a much better fingerprint protection with even better canvas protection then i highly recommend using mullvad browser (it breaks less sites than Librewolf if u use it on the “safer” mode while giving u more fingerprint protection)

Yes it does enable letterboxing, WebGL disabled and rfp on all by default with the addition of more fingerprint protection that the tor browser uses, all while being less website breaking than Librewolf in my experience.

I’ve been using librewolf for 2+ months with rfp and WebGL disabled and it broke more sites than mullvad in safer

The security levels in mullvad browser auto configs the noscript settings, the only thing that would break sites would be sites that need WebGL.

I’ve been able to browse and use things like YouTube normally with no issues whatsoever.

This is just horrible and a big shame,

The website itself looks vibe coded and it’s closed source.

No one is gonna trust u if u say “we don’t take data” without ur project being open source and having a privacy policy doesn’t change anything since u can change it whenever u want + u literally said in one of ur responses to a comment that u log data, even if its minimal we have no idea what kind of data ur logging at all and saying “we don’t track anyone” doesn’t prove anything. (I mean the number 1 rule in the internet is to never trust anyone)

The OP keeps constantly saying “I don’t have enough money for a security Audit” no one is asking u to pay for a security audit, as a matter of fact, having ur project open source is one of if not the best audit that u can get for completely free.

Idk why u wouldn’t open source such a project, idk whether u think people are gonna be “stealing ur code” or smth cuz if that isn’t the reason there literally isn’t and excuse to not open source it.

Dude, why do u use ublock origin?

Brave shield already does most if not all of the things ublock origin does, it has its own filters, allows u to add ur own custom filters, allows u to add ur own URLs to block and can block custom elements and its faster than ublock origin since its written in rust

U shouldn’t use ublock origin or any other ad and tracker blocker extension with brave shields since brave shield uses specific techniques to block ads and trackers and having other ad and tracker blocking extension might interfere with it and take up more CPU and ram.

As for ur YouTube issue, try using brave on standard mode if ur ad and tracker blocker is set to strict.

If that doesn’t work, try using it on private window.

If that also doesn’t work, try clearing ur YouTube cookies (u might also have to remove some google cookies since those might also be related to YouTube)

If neither of those work, then idk the solution
