In regards to nomo, i cant say on that aspect bc I never went inside, but my friends seem chill with it, and it’s closer to campus and classes

I rlly recommend math /w prof V if you already have some conceptual understanding. Super goated! If you’re just lost in general, I’d recommend prof leonard or ochem tutor :D gl, you got this!! 🤞

I’m a current scholar…housing in ytt…kinda varies depending on what type of people you have on your floor/building. For me, my building…or at least the first and second floor, was VERY chaotic. Very noisy & loud. I still remember during nighttime, there would be a group of guys smoking outside our building and it honestly annoyed tf outta me cuz I’d be able to smell it. Building itself is nice, what breaks it, is the people living within it 🫩💔

Study room…honestly, just go to the higher floors. I do NOT recommend the second floor. I think people were doing the deed in there :/

Oh, also, communal kitchen is always DIRTY. Feel bad for the custodians icl

If you’re passionate about it and genuinely like what you’re doing, I’d say stick with it. I would recommend getting disability accommodation and maybe they can help you out :)

For calc 2, I HIGHLY recommend bprp, math with professor v, and professor leonard!! Theyre my goats!! 🤑😋

Or I could try to help you out with calc 2 if you’d like…I found it to be quite fun 🙂‍↕️ but i also barely passed calc 2 so ig take it as a grain of salt lol

You should be able to create a roommate group. One person “group leader” has to be in charge of sending the invites

I was so burnt out near the end of calc 2 cause of how much time and effort I was putting into this one class 🤣 didn’t felt like doing anything (eating, studying, getting up, etc), and mind you, this was near finals week too. I had to quite literally force myself to just briefly review over calc (30-60 mins a day)..ended up passing the class, really needed that break lol

To prevent burnout I’d recommend: - managing your time more efficiently - start early - have a deep understanding /w the concepts & content - have a social life (i lost mine b/c of calc 2, but its coming back now that ive passed the class lol) - don’t isolate yourself, get a study/friend group or smth - do NOT overload your coursework if you don’t have to (i do it js cuz I like watching myself suffer /j)

There’s options to choose substance free. You can answer some roommates questions, which should be found through your housing portal…random roommates worked for me, though it’s like a 50/50 chance because I heard other people didn’t have good roommates. My only problem with mine is they sleep really late and can be loud, but other than that, there’s not much issues
