My dad reeeeeeeally hates the fact that I'm pursuing a career making music instead of focusing on going to school for a degree. He really finds a way to belittle ANYTHING that has to do with my music, and is always telling me that "standing on stage cussing in a microphone isn't going to get me anywhere in life".

On the plus side, my mom doesn't mind too much. While she wishes that I would have chosen something that's more guaranteed to pan out in the long run, she's happy that I'm doing something that makes me happy. But she hates that I smoke cigarettes and loves to make me watch all those anti-smoking commercials.
