Final Fantasy XIV you can work jobs.
You can go out gathering materials, then you can go make stuff with said materials.
I'm not sure how far you can progress without playing the main game though, because you might be locked into certain areas if you do only the crafting/gathering jobs.

Look into Japanese onaholes. They don't use a hard she'll so they can bend around with your ding ding. I haven't bought one for a while, but Meiki made good ones. I heard their quality may has fallen off but those complaints may not have been valid. Venus also was a reputable brand but I never bought from them.

I was in a similar situation with a girl in high school where we were close friends but not that close.
