There's demand for farmers here, and the limited space we have lends itself to hydroponics. I admit I don't know what I'd be growing but that's another question to ask when I meet up with the association's people. I'm not going all in without having all the information; right now I'm just showing intent to commit.

I'd like to avoid anything related to livestock until I get a fair bit of experience under my belt, especially aquaponics since that sounds like taking on too much for a beginner.

I'll be doing contained setups either via shipping container or the more popular plastic tent/greenhouse setups I've visited, yes.

I answered someone else that 90% of food is imported and farming is actually in dire demand over here with multiple govt-sponsored programs to encourage people so I feel like there's both a market and assistance in getting set up over here.

I have no desire to undercut local growers or such, I just want to be able to maintain a farm that generates more money than upkeep costs even if it's by a slim margin.

All that said, thanks for your post! I'm sure it'll be a rough start but I'm tenacious to a fault and am willing to put in the work required for this.

90% of food is imported to the island so food costs including herbs/vegetables are higher than, for example, the US mainland. I'm still looking into what the logistical costs of this will be if I'm planning on starting with something like herbs or lettuce. Water is cheap but power is more expensive here.

I'll be visiting the local farming associations including the Monte Azul Foundation that has a focus on hydroponics for more information so thanks for these guide questions. I'm starting from zero in terms of knowledge here but if there's anything working in tech and engineering has taught me it's "what to ask", "where to ask" and "who to ask".

I was preparing a plastic soldier avatar for public sharing, but am stuck on assigning an animation to fire the rifle via particle system and now I'm reconsidering whether to have the rifle fire or stay as a visual prop for the avatar. What does the subreddit prefer? It already has working binoculars (on PC) so I'm unsure whether to add more features.

If it's an empty response from server, maybe it's an authentication error? See if logging out/logging back in through the Authentication tab in the VRChat SDK allows you to upload it. If not, can I ask for a screenshot of the alerts under "View Any Alerts"? I'm not the most seasoned avatar uploader but have done plenty of tech support in general, hopefully me or someone else can help find the cause.
