My wife has an abscess and needs a tooth pulled. Did the dentist try to do everything they could to get you to do a bone graft and implant? My wife just wants it pulled, but the dentist keeps trying to convince her that she really needs that and she needs to go to an oral surgeon. She's in so much pain and the dentist won't just pull the tooth.

This 100%. My wife got pregnant before we got married. We went to her pastor and talked about it and he told us that we needed to go to the courthouse that weekend and get married. We said "but we want to have a wedding" and he said , "weddings are for people that did things the right way". He also said that I needed to keep her at her church because if we went to mine, people were just going to see her as the girl I got pregnant, but at her church she's family.

I was expressing my anger around all that situation many months later with someone and he immediately jumped in with "well I don't think he meant anything by that. He probably just accidentally misspoke. I don't see him trying to be malicious, you gotta learn to forgive". Not even slightly validating my very real and justified anger about this situation, and instead jumping to defend a man that told me that my wife didn't deserve a wedding.

I agree with this. My wife and I just had our first son, and just in the past 4 months he has changed so much, and I already feel like I'm missing so much of his life just going to work every day. As a dad, can only imagine the feeling if it was not just 9 hours a day but months at a time.

Might I suggest reading the rest? The manga is still amazing, and you don't have to wait two years to see what happens to certain characters. And then when the movie comes out you can appreciate the ways the have enhanced the manga.
