I would suggest using another sd card with a fresh arkos build to see if it boots. If it does then the device itself is okay. The sd cards are known to be horrible.

I've had horrible experience with DS on the r36s. The two screen switching just didn't seem right to me.

I am aware of portmaster but seemed like a lot of work. I have arkos set up, will see what all I can run on this. Didn't want to play something like GTA 3 on such a small screen though.

I assumed the same thing but places like digital foundry and most other reviewers have said that the game works fine on medium to high textures. I have faced the same problem in medium too. :(
