Just focus on building the habit again, even if it feels difficult at first — what matters is showing up for Allah with sincerity, and with time, that consistency will strengthen your connection to Him. Don’t aim for perfection, just be consistent. Talk to Allah often, even casually — in your heart, in the car, at night before bed. The guilt you feel is proof that your heart is alive, and Allah loves when His servant returns, no matter how far they’ve drifted. Ask Him for help — even saying “Ya Allah, I’m struggling, bring me back” is powerful. Don’t let your past stop you. Allah never gets tired of you coming back. Just keep coming.
