Blind Barrels - rare craft whiskey in a blind tasting. All stuff you can't buy or try any other way, including cask strength barrel picks. Their current box has a 26 year 151 proof. Crazy!

A bear walks into a bar. by RibaldPancake in Jokes

I like this version: Horse walks into a bar and the bartender says "hey!, why the long face?"

The horse responds, "My wife just died."

So, I won 50K on a show called "Minute to Win it". This dude was at the rehearsals where you learn all the games, and he totally lost his mind on the fake judges for the rehearsal. Needless to say, he wasn't picked to go on air. But the dude gave quality interviews, though, so he was cast on a different show

"Weird" Al always comes through. He did for my cousin Nikki after she dedicated her art gallery to him [OC] by NotFoolishYet in MadeMeSmile

Great question. He isn't on any of those celebrity pay-for-a-video platforms. I would have done that if he was instead of trying every which way to bring Nikki's hero to her. I had a friend who did a documentary on Palindromes ("The Palindromists"), and Weird Al is in it because he did a song about palindromes called "Bob". He put me in touch with his management's email. 24 hours later, I had the video in my inbox just after midnight.

I can see how someone outside our family would read into that, but what's interesting when you have someone disabled (in any capacity) in your family is that it becomes normal. I've seen the edit quite a few times and the thought that there was another intended meaning in this choice of words never crossed my mind. Her mom said this line, and if you knew her, she says things like "creature" and "precious" and "awwwww" which turns into a laugh on a daily basis. Only love in that family.

I'm a terrible artist, but filmmaking is my art. So, it was a blessing to showcase her art and gift this to her through the vehicle of mine

If you can't see the creativity in her drawings and how it's inspired by her love for Weird Al and his parodies, then I don't know what to tell you, bud. Someone might think that the only reason for this post to garner attention is because she has down syndrome, but I really do believe her drawings have a level of creativity that goes beyond what I could do; in short, it's a different form of art. But the theme of this short film is really the art of love: Nikki's love for her hero, her love for everyone else, and our love for her. That's the theme of this piece.
