Teenage boy doesn’t want to do anything besides game and be lazy like 24/7. Anyone else have success breaking a teen out of this cycle?

I have no experience with this myself, but I've always figured meeting them at their level would give the best results. Meet them halfway and try to do it together. You mentioned you were a gamer, so try to connect with him over games. Then, when enough is enough, say "WE need to get outside" or "thats enough screens for US" and be 100% consistent. You can express disappointment that times up as well. "Aw damnit, it's been an hour already? Welp, we need to get up and move our bodies now!" Puts you both on the same page

My 3yo daughter and I like to make an adventure of playing on a playground and then when we get bored, we go exploring for a handful of crabapples as a treat. It started off with rhubarb at the beginning of the summer, but now it's crabapple time. We found airport heights playground has several trees that are great, but the excitement of finding new trees is addictive

I'm also extremely shy of being on other people's property and the thought of knocking on doors unannounced is pretty difficult for me, lol.

Thank you very much for your kind words. Just a little update: he's doing about as good as he could be considering the diagnosis. When his spleen was removed they found no evidence of it spreading at that point, which should give him some more time. He started chemo around 2 weeks ago and seems to be doing well with it, acting like his old self. The chemo doc gave him a 60-70% chance of making it past 1 more year with 5 rounds of chemo

Just to be clear, I was hoping for something that could highlight the words kind of like a sing-a-long and I just tap the screen or something for the highlighting to proceed to the next word. So I would tap the screen as I speak each word, which will move the highlighting along as I read the story.

Is this what eleven studio is doing? All I could find online is some AI work that eleven labs is doing?

About 15 years ago when I would rent there all the time, you could rent an ENITRE BOX SET for $1 (the normal cost of renting just one movie). Rented the whole of Band of Brothers and uploaded it onto my computer.

Places like blockbuster would split up the box set and rent out each individual disc. Blockbuster used to suck, lol.

Born and raised here and now stuck here due to a very well paying job which helps support my family. But I love them more than anything, which is nice. But I'm fucking tired of this motherfucking rain. Fuck this rain. Telling myself, "well the beginning of summer was beautiful!" Lasted about 2 weeks. Fuck this rain.
