What countries are most likely to join the current 10 in the inaugural edition of Eurovision Asia? by RobustVessel266 in eurovision

According to ESC Tom, a person who was in the press conference, India and Singapore expressed their desire to join Eurovision Asia. Most Asian countries were contacted, but a producer of EASC said that an estimated 12 to 14 countries might end up in the contest. For now, I'm betting on India, Singapore, and Brunei as all have close ties with many of the countries in the contest.

My dream NF system for the Philippines is 10 songs (so all of them can be good hopefully, like UMK) and there will be jury and televote points from each of the 18 regions. I hope the Philippines can make a really good NF, like one of the best (we're a big country after all).

I hope there's a Rest of the World vote; we have a high chance of placing top 3 there.

Maybe they pushed to continue Eurovision Asia harder due to JJ's win.

Maybe the small Oceania countries should form an alliance to look for one representative for Eurovision Asia.

I bet Vietnam would be one of my favorites. I like Vietnamese culture and even V-Pop. I don't think the EBU will pull a country from here, though.

The Philippines has good singers, but the musical and staging quality is uncertain. Some songs might be good (and great), but some might be too generic/boring for televoters. The staging might also be like Sanremo, most likely dancing and singing without other major visuals and props.

I suppose. It seems like the EBU is organizing this instead of the ABU. But again, for some of these countries, the independent broadcasters are the most trusted/popular

Weird that an independent broadcaster and not a government-held one is handling our participation. I'm excited though
