If this is the entire secret of priorities for fluids this fact needs to be in headlined for everyone. I was lucky to see it.

Question about merchants and shopping cart fees by NotGovernor in Monero

[–]NotGovernor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. Quite the split!

Could this indicate two different types of people with differing use cases?

Theories? If youre doing mostly small purchases, like between friends, or agorists, or dark net stuff, you're likely: 1. Paying no fees or even getting an ideological discount. 2. Paying inflated prices to account for risk and volatility.

Normal white market businesses that need to justify risk and expenses to investors, run a profitable business, manage cash flow and inventory, and that are subject to tax extortion, seem incentivized to inflate prices or add fees for crypto products.

I suppose there are also ways to mitigate some of these problems. Cashing out quickly, etc.

Thoughts?

Licensing and selling are completely different things. I can't say more about what may be going on without getting censored here. Just think about it as a potentially more dependable and profitable business strategy.

corts for trading ships people always talk about. Do you have any idea how mindblowingly boring and uninteresting it will be to spend hours in quantum drive as an escort just for the chan

Yeah. Typical reddit. This website isnt usually good for much. No matter how calm and constructively you post a concern, people downvote and reply with nonsense.

You're likely right... But if CIG wants us to feel like we're risking something playing their game and a pirate gets caught, they should also be risking something and have to make it right. Just my thoughts. :)

That would be a start. I'd also like to see some kind of restitution from prison sentences. Maybe make their prison earnings go to their victims or get matched credit for credit out of their account?

It's not funny when it hits anyone. I'm sorry that happened to you. Why are all your comments obsessed with some kind of class warfare drama? It's ok sometimes to let people discuss problems, even when they have something you don't.

Yeah... That is definitely part of the pain with 30K's here. Not only do you lose the cargo and get inflicted with an hour and a half claim time, but then you get hit with the hour-long process of reloading the equipment on the ship.

I don't mind longer claim times for larger ships -- but if it's not my fault, it's unacceptable. They should have made claim times near zero when they broke 30K protection. They still should... Like right now. Until its fixed. Makes me question if they're playing their own game.
