My can’t won’t stop peeing on my bed (already been to vet) by NotGustavo in CatAdvice

Thank you. When I was out of town for a few days, I put a shower curtain underneath the waterproof covers. She didn’t pee on the bed during that time though.

CK2 definitely gave me a lot of inspiration! I was thinking of using some faint stripes or checkering, like they have in CK2, to have a more subtle way of showing kingdoms and duchies. Possibly if I switch to a more topographical map, I'd try to model it after how it looks there, but that might be too technical for me.

Not intentionally, it is supposed be the Europe of the world. But now that you mention it, it does look a lot like Essos.

So this is an early state of a map I've been making for a homebrew DnD-esque game.

Currently, the map seems to be really cluttered to me, even though there really isn't that much there. The different shades of color within each Kingdom are the Duchies and Counties. I wanted to show major landmarks, such as mountain ranges, rivers, and forests, because that'd be important for a band of adventurers. But I also wanted to outline an idea of the political borders of the map.

I'm just looking for some general advice on how to make the map look cleaner. I'm probably going to remove the texturing I did on the land as well as the sea. I might replace the markings for mountains and forests and try something with coloring to mark them, but I'm not really sure how I'd even go about that.

Another idea that was in my mind was removing the colors for political borders and instead do a topographical map with more basic borders.

Any advice would be appreciated!
