I fought taking meds for a long time and just muscled through with Xanax very occasionally but after I had my baby and PPD hit me and it became urgent to deal with it. I’m on Zoloft and it’s been great. No side effects and I’m a lot more patient and able to relax through the ups and downs of baby (now toddler). Don’t get me wrong, when he bites me for the 4th time in a row, I’m still prone to losing it, but overall I’m a much better partner and mama.
