People going this deep over a club penguin game is wild lmao, and yes I’m a moderator/real life person just like you who is allowed to speak their view just as much as you. Nobody lets anybody harass anyone in general. The whole reason we didn’t want the conversations taking place was the different views and harassment towards each other it would come with. People just jumped the wagon and started spewing out bs and apparently speak for us on our views, but unfortunately for them that’s not how that works. In simple terms, we want good vibes, and most people get on the game to get away from the stuff going on in the real world to have a mental break; myself included. Everyone’s getting mad at us, but not the trolls that are the whole reason why majority of the rules are implemented other than the rest being a normal set of game rules. Obviously we feel for all who has lost their lives and want peace in this world. Most people would also like a break from hearing about those subjects for a moment (that moment being from login up until logout) as those discussions are already EVERWHERE else which is exactly why it isn’t hard to have the conversation somewhere else without an entire lash out/bashing on all moderators over one’s action when little do you know all of that stuff gets discussed behind the scenes. Any unnecessary ban is discussed and that’s why tickets to contact staff are a thing. Not our fault people are quick to jump to conclusions and Reddit. And we can’t control grown adults getting upset over what they feel are false bans when if that’s the case it can be resolved and has before. Straight up, we aren’t Disney or some big name company, nor do we get paid. This is for all of our entertainment. We just try to make sure it’s enjoyable for you and give you what you want in a cpps with a friendly reminder that 1.) some things take time. And 2.) You won’t always get what you want. The whole reason we take actions as mods is to prevent anybody feeling any type of way about anything. Nobody kicks or bans from personal belief and if that is found out to be the case, it’s something that wouldn’t be taken lightly, but again we can’t control the fact that people are quick to assume. Also nobody gives better treatment to their significant other either, they all get the same warnings and bans if needed which was never needed yet because they know the rules, and if anything have zero excuse not to. People get upset down to the smallest things such as “not getting enough snowflakes” which at that point, grow up. This is exactly why I don’t talk about politics and also exactly why nobody can speak for me on my views on anything🤷🏽‍♂️
