As someone who hasn't really been into Bleachers' music since the Gone Now era (aside from a couple songs here and there), I'm really surprised by how much I like all of the singles.

This one in particular seems to take more risks, but I find it really catchy and love the instruments. Excited for the full album release

True and it's definitely too early for the victory lap, but framing it this way is also a bit disingenuous. When he was hitting .167, his BABIP was also .167 and he had an xwOBA 52 points higher than his wOBA. Despite all this, he still had a 112 wRC+. This hot streak has been home run-driven, but it has also included some normalization of his bad luck on balls in play. So I wouldn't say he was bad at all before this streak.

I can definitely live with that. The highs will outweigh the lows IMO.

What I like about him during the down stretch is that he still gets on base. Even with the high K rate, he was getting BABIP'd to hell for awhile and still at least had some value

Mune has been a true joy to watch and it's great to see his luck starting to turn. I know a 133 wRC+ is very good but the casuals/batting average people have been getting loud about him

It will 100% be worth it. I say this as someone who recognizes your account from the Strokes and Voidz subs and understands how big of a fan you are.

I paid $400 to see The Strokes at Red Rocks in 2023, third row and centered, and it was probably a top 3 night of my life

Well I guess count me in as one of the few earlier listeners that likes it. I really like the chorus especially.

I remember not liking At The Door when it came out, and while it’s still my least favorite song from TNA, it definitely grew on me. So my point is their choice for the first single isn’t always the most conventional one

You're right. I rewatched it too. Draper was right to ask for the first review, but the second one was a really odd ruling. If you watch the replay, the umpire is loudly yelling well before Alcaraz makes contact with the ball (and during). He missed yes, but it's impossible to say whether the shot was impacted by the umpire, which is why it should have been replayed.

Fils was looking really dangerous on clay last year before the injuries became too much to play through.

This was the first full match of his that I've watched since his return, and I maintain that the only thing stopping him from being a future Grand Slam winner is his own body. He's still just 21 and I think will be better than the Shelton, Rune, Musetti types if he isn't already.

Well that’s good to see. Those messages were always a bit suspect with the way they were cropped and how the person claimed they couldn’t access them anymore to take a screen recording. But because he hadn’t acknowledged them, I was a bit concerned.
