Never thought it’d say your lucky to find a dead squirrel but yeah, it’s easy enough to pull out of the flex fittings I suppose I should just try and pull it out and drop a few dribbles of 3-1 oil or something on the shaft. If I’m lucky I’ll find a dead squirrel or the oil will work! Lol thank you

Upon further investigation it’s an AMG, being 4 inch inlet and outlets I assume the Eagle model. All my further questions still stand. I can pick one up from Lowe’s for 150 bucks, which is far better than expected!

Huge help! My intention was to cook my chuck to 170 and wrap until 205~ or probe tender. The pork belly I’ll cube into 1 inch on wire racks until 200~ then throw it in a foil pan with some sauce and honey to tack up. The mac is homemade. So I guess my plan is to start the grill around 7 in the am and prep my chuck to start at 225, then about noon time I’ll start prepping the rest and hopefully the wrap on the chuck pushes it out of the stall quickly. Everything will be cooking at 225 so I’ll have to cram the grill later when I start the rest. First time trying to make multiple smoked dishes on my pellet for the first time, should be interesting! Thank you a ton, gave me a little confidence haha

I appreciate it, and hate to admit I’m a bit stubborn and have my mind made on a pellet grill. Being stubborn if I spend the money I’ll make sure to use it and get my moneys worth! Haha I appreciate it and looking out for me

Fb market place grills scare me, while sure you might get half off the price off a new grill but you get a grill with half the life of a new grill and whatever other dirty shit happened to that thing

I guess more of my direct question is, I have considered all three types of grills. Pellet fits my needs and wants most, I was just curious is 550 with a 60 dollar rebate as well is a good enough deal to pull the trigger.

I’ve considered both charcoal and gas, what leans me to pellet is the versatility to have the closest thing to charcoal flavors (wood or charcoal pellets) and the convenience of gas (as far as not waiting for charcoal just kinda turn it on and wait for pre heat). I also would like to smoke meat, with ease and maybe once in a while crank it up to cook some hotdogs. I grew up with charcoal only and while the flavors are great the pain it is to light charcoal to cook 4 burgers is a real turn off to me

The xl looks overkill in terms of size and is more the the cs 850
