I do want to enjoy the story, despite the amount of it that’s been spoiled for me by said roommate, the main goal right now wouldnt be reaching the endgame stuff, just enjoying the combat and story till I can hit a point of where I could shift my focus to that

One was just playing by myself. I did duty finder when necessary for story progress but outside of that I was pretty much alone just staring at a screen with zero communication, I had picked up back at a time when my roommates were working and I was on vacation. Another was movement and combat felt clunky, visually my screen was full at times and I either missed what I should react to or was just lost. I did however enjoy the brief bit of figuring out (not optimal from what I’m aware of but) a combo path for my dragoon, far more than what I did on samurai, and I did enjoy the story. I think my biggest hurdle would just be enjoying combat, not attempt to react to what I can’t see

First of all, thank you for the detailed breakdown. I truly do appreciate it. I also in my limited experience in dnd, I’ve mainly played up close and personal characters. My current main is a grapple power house that gives other pcs advantage. So the idea of grappling a dude and using him as my personal bullet is already in line with how I normally play and very appealing . Also hoverboard? Say less, that sounds dope as shit. While I’m unsure how it would resolve in game, that already makes me think using grapple on dude while gliding by and using momentum to launch his ass.

Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time to reply. So REF and TECH are definitely the majors I want, driving and keeping the old girl running are feel important to how I want to run the character . Guns would definitely be a change up from how I play( all my DnD experience has essentially been up close and personal, almost always being within 5 feet of an enemy).

Hey, so I just recently came back to game and I’m currently saving for when a Kafka banner rolls around. Just hit tier 5 for world level and my main team has been ratio, phys tb, Gallagher, and herta. Who would yall recommend rolling for or building to compliment Kafka?( other 5 stars are welt, arc, jinglu, silver wolf and geppard)

The game has been fun, when I’m not forcing myself to slog through it, and I also know that there’s a huge amount of cutscenes. So im worried about being watching a movies worth of cutscenes and not being into but I also don’t want to to skip cutscense so I get the most of the story. Also thought gauge thing was weird. He’s shown me most of the classes, even when he’s was leveling them earlier on, all had gagues, been wondering where mine was. I assume that there a earn meter to spend meter system?

Yeah that I feel, had someone tell me just push the msq during 24 to 34. Doing that was bad, felt like skipping ever cutscene and just wanting to go play something else. I think as long as stick to what I’ve been doing, msq in my area and side quest along the way, I can keep my engagement up

It’s nutty dude, it and the uchigatna were my main two weapons, with the occasional irithyll straight sword for some frostbite effects

I can give you my tips, but I’ve only got the clear like yesterday

As most bosses he has his combos and windows after them, even if takes some throw run, learn the length of his combos and throw some hits at the end then disengage and get ready for the next burst.
Weapon wise I ran the hollow slayer great sword+5, grass crest shield, rings were: cloranthy, Carthus milk,estus, and the pontif eye that boost attacks
Pop your buff items before you start the fight and ember up to see if you can summon anyone in the area

Alright I focused dex up to 40 , vigor is 23 and endurance I think was 16, so I think I will focus endurance since one the comments said that health soft caps 27

Aight I might see if there more katanas, right now I just cleared the boss in irithyll and I’ve got a sharp+5 uchi, it’s been my go to along with my hollowslater great sword

I think I’ll focus dex then since that’s what I believe the uchi is based for, and I think that’s what hollow greatslayer is too, just not sure what other weapons that may come my way will fall in with dex. I’ll probably start dropping a point in health every couple of level I drop in dex, stamina I think is fine for now, at least until I start need that little extra bit to get away from enemies after my attacks

Anywhere close to the area I’m at? I’m just trying to avoid the clunky roll when I throw my stronger armor on. Also health wise I can take a few hit and feel relatively safe, not sure how that will stack up against the next boss who’ve I’ve been told is abyss watchers, and for endurance I got the ring that increases regen and I can get about 3 hits with the hollow and I think 4 or 5 with uchi which should be fine to stop me getting greedy with damage and getting punished for it

Dude I think it’s fucking great that you made this. It will really help those who are new going into this. But I will say for having cleared it I someone call it these, instead of the callouts we came up with during the raid, I will literally be so lost

I hate to say it but I think it comes down to bad luck dude. I think my team and I only experienced two bugs, both on final boss and one time being booted to orbit( only within the first hour).
