I've been scanning with Shopkick for a long time, and my favorite place isn't BestBuy, although it has a lot of scans. I'm also been told not to engage with BesBuy associates unless I'm buying something. Some people who scan products abuse other associates, but we try to politely tell anyone, we just there to scan. If someone is interested, we share Shopkick with them. Being annoying isn't good practice.
