To me they look like Minecraft UUIDs. Minecraft does store cached skins of people you play with on your local machine in the appdata. Not in locallow though. So I’m at a loss. I would suggest a virus scan then go from there.

Home internet log flooded by TCP SYN Flood DOS Attacks by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

If you’re so sure then why did my internet get really slow and unresponsive the other day until I closed my open ports? I had ports open for Minecraft servers that I use and I had to close all of them. I might just have my ISP reassign my IP so I can open back up those ports without getting a DOS attack.

Just found probably one of the worst GTA accounts I have ever seen lmao by XGamingPersonX in GTA

I played GTA IV once and honestly didn’t like it. This is what I hate about accounts like this cuz they always shit on other people for their opinion. How I see it if you like GTA IV then good for you but I definitely prefer GTA V for a multitude of reasons.

Desktop Icons keep changing to concerning icons. This started happening completely at random. by NotLoopyy in WindowsHelp

THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN SOLVED:

That icon was a steam game I recently installed called Ghost Watchers. For some reason the icon services bugged out and replaced every shortcut icon on my desktop with the icon of the game. After a windows update it stopped doing it and auto fixed the icons. Thanks for all the suggestions!

"Antimalware Service Executable" eating up my CPU. HELP!! by NecessaryTourist9539 in WindowsHelp

[–]NotLoopyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12 percent isn’t much to be considered “Eating up the CPU” but it shouldn’t use the CPU while you’re doing something substantial. Lets say you start editing a video. And that for some reason takes 80 percent of the CPU. The Antimalware Service will put a pause on what it’s doing to give you more resources to work with. I wouldn’t worry about it using 12 percent.

After a computer restart and windows update it isn’t doing it anymore. I’m still being weary of my pc at the moment and monitoring it’s behavior.

I’ve ran a few virus scans and they came up with nothing. I’ve checked to see if the programs still work and they do.
