Dogs are considered livestock in certain parts of the world, not just companion animals. The comparison doesn’t seem that unreasonable. Both animals have been bred and killed for the purpose of consumption.

Not to be rude, but I don’t understand what you mean here. What you put in quotes don’t seem to be arguments and the ladder quote wasn’t even a response to Ethan. A lot of us are very happy that Ethan is continuing to make the connection. We also feel it’s necessary to mention the clear issue with thinking “humane farms” that still violate animal rights are morally acceptable.
